I was first introduced to Stampin' Up! a month after moving to Southern Illinois from Texas. It was a life saver for me to say the least! It allowed me to meet new people and to make new friends. It was wonderful to be part of something special that allowed me to have fun and to learn to be creative with others. I really looked forward to our Club Workshops and Technique Classes every month. That was back in June 2008. I finally signed up as a demonstrator on March 28, 2011! Honestly, I don't know what took me so long!
I love making cards to send to my family and friends with my own unique touch that shows how much I care about them. Plus they love receiving them as well! It's great making cards for birthdays, special occasions, invitations, and let's not forget about holiday cards! I've learned many wonderful techniques while doing cards that I'm ready to embark into the scrapbooking world at some point, which is something I've been wanting to do for a very long time. While being a part of the Stampin' Up! over the past years, it has allowed me to grow and to have the confidence in making my own SWEET CREATIONS. I even made our daughter's Bridal Shower & Wedding Reception Favors!
Having said that . . . anyone can do what I do. You don't have to be creative. It's like anything else, it's a learned skill. One thing about being part of the Stampin' Up! family, there is plenty of support and others who share their creative ideas and they are happy to do so!
